St. Padre Pio, known for his long hours of prayer and penitence, spent his life in ineffable sufferings, but also with moments of great joy derived from his very close union with God. This union was fostered by his burning love of the Holy Eucharist and of Our Lady. Also includes footage of his Beatification by Pope John Paul II in 1999.
